Cask strength Eau de Vie. Currently in old casks, this cognac has come down to less than 50% alcohol naturally.
Blend of eaux-de-vie between 1947 and 1955
An oxidized cognac (“madérisé”) which has nearly attained all its fullness. Storing it in old casks has avoided an excess of tannin despite the number of years.
Flavours of nuts and cigar box. Hints of spices. Supple and round. Exceptional rancio.
This cognac will be kept in demijohns within a few years.
