Folle Blanche, the king of grape varieties before the phylloxera crisis, is now very rare in the Cognac region, accounting for just 1% of the total. The reason for this is that its cultivation is more technical and delicate. Yet this variety is renowned for the finesse of its eaux-de-vie, with their intense floral bouquet.

A grape variety that has fascinated the Thorin family for over 70 years.

In the 1950s, André Thorin set the ball rolling by planting the estate's first Folle Blanche vines. A work of patience and passion, Folle Blanche Cognac reflects the expertise of the Thorin family.
Passionate about his terroir, the Grande Champagne region, Claude Thorin has made it his mission to (re)discover forgotten grape varieties, in particular Folle Blanche. It's a grape variety he's always loved.
