"12 ans" Borderies Cognac de Collection Jean Grosperrin
Already amber dress. Many amount for this cognac, supported by a high degree.
On the nose, notes both mineral and rancid, with a floral touch, narcissus, daffodil. There is amplitude, slight waxed and tertiary notes emerge.
On the palate, the attack is lively, frank, the mineral side of the Borderies expresses itself fully, with even a flinty side. Aromatic power, but well balanced, there is no burning or pidure. The first rancios are present, they give relief to this cognac, and almost a smoked side. The floral notes return in retro-action.
The final is long, the pastry side of the youth is gone.
So greedy ! A beautiful cognac!
