Cognac Jean Grosperrin "Tresor" N°39 Grande Champagne
This very old cognac comes from a farm, located in the heart of Grande Champagne.
The ten or so bottles we could buy come from the father's stock. The barrels of this precious cognac were stored in the basement of the farm, on clay.

Cognac de Collection Jean Grosperrin "Tresor" N°39 Grande Champagne
On the nose, a cognac that testifies to its terroir, with notes both vivid and delicate limestone, old waxed furniture, irises, white flowers. But the age of this cognac is also manifested by more tertiary notes, a delicate rancio, white pepper, summer undergrowth. The second nose reveals notes of old balsamic.
In the mouth, the attack is smooth, progressive, well balanced, the aromas prolong the complexity that we have on the nose.
The final is long, a classic signature, but finally remarkable.
