The Delamain Trio tasting box consists of 3 bottles of 200ml of old Cognacs, a tasting sheet, all in an elegant wooden box.
The Pale & Dry X.O: delicacy and elegance: Assembly aged for many years, the Pale & Dry X.O, elegant and distinguished, of extreme delicacy, offers a dress of a very light amber, very bright, limpid and a bright shine with golden reflections. On the nose, it is distinguished by its power and length, floral notes relayed by a vanilla rancio. On the palate, a liquorice volume lines the palate with a creamy, light and harmonious envelope.
The Vesper: roundness and voluptuousness: Older than the Pale & Dry X.O, this Cognac is a different style, more classic with a more amber tone and brilliant reflections of a very pure gold. Its highly evolutive bouquet translates caressingly and sedately, a woody note of oak that fades quickly to make way for undergrowth and dry shoots, vanilla, to finish in sun-ripened grape seed. On the palate, it is a real voluptuous velvet.
The Most Venerable: fullness and complexity: The aging of oak barrels from Cognac, a blend of grand Champagnes of very old age, expresses all the nobility of these eaux-de-vie when they reach the peak of their evolution. On the nose, this very old Cognac combines finesse and elegance, lightness and intensity, liveliness and tenderness. It is perfectly balanced, remaining fresh despite its many years. On the palate, we find softness and roundness, with an endless liquorice finish, a great complexity and all the subtlety of the great Cognacs.
