Originating from the ancestral vineyards of Chateau du Plessis in Cognac, the House of Camus has enjoyed positive reception since its founding in 1863. Currently helmed by fifth generation Cyril Camus, the independent Cognac maker is still going strong, having recently launched Cuvee 2.105, the latest opus in the Masterpiece collection, in Hong Kong on November 18th of 2011.

In February 2011, then aged 65 and 40, Jean-Paul and Cyril Camus, father and son, selected for the creation of Cuvee 2.105 two cognacs whose ages and characters, in the words of the esteemed House, “faithfully represent their own personalities”.  A Grand Champagne cognac of 65 years was blended with a second Grand Champagne cognac, this one aged for a minimum of 40 years.

The resulting palate is creamy and generous; a sublime marriage of hazelnut, chocolate, dried plum and cedar wood. Housed in a striking crystal decanter – crafted by renowned crystal house Baccarat - Camus Cuvee 2.105 is limited to 1,228 numbered bottles worldwide
